Our International Knock In service is designed to maximise the performance, durability and longevity of your cricket bat using a combination of traditional craftsmanship and specialised equipment.

Service Includes

• Premium linseed oil treatment
• Machine knock in of the bat face (approximately 15,000 controlled impacts over 30 minutes)
• Hand mallet knock in
• Traditional boning of the edges, shoulders and toe
• Extratec face protection
• Fibreglass edge taping for added durability

State Knock In Service

Our State Knock In service provides the essential preparation required to get your new bat ready for use.

Service Includes

• Premium linseed oil treatment
• Machine knock in of the bat face (approximately 15,000 controlled impacts over 30 minutes)
• Machine preparation of the shoulders and toe

A great option for players wanting professional bat preparation before completing the final playing in process.

Important Information

Preparation Time

To ensure your bat is prepared correctly, please allow 7–10 days for the knock in process to be completed.

This timeframe is important as it allows the raw linseed oil to fully penetrate and condition the willow fibres before the knock in process is completed. Allowing the oil to absorb properly provides the best opportunity for your bat to achieve optimum performance, durability and longevity.

Although every bat is professionally prepared, we still recommend gradually playing your bat in using good quality older cricket balls before using it in competitive matches. This allows the willow to continue compressing naturally and provides the best protection against premature damage.

Whether your bat requires repairs, refurbishment or professional preparation, we make the process simple.

Sending Your Bat

You can either:

• Post your bat to our workshop at 23 Billson Place, Glenroy NSW 2640 or
• Arrange a workshop drop off by texting 0478 672 481 to book a suitable time.

If Posting Your Bat

Please ensure you:

• Include your name, contact number and return address.
• Include a brief description of the work you would like completed.
• Do not send your bat cover, as it may not be returned.

Repair Turnaround

Please allow approximately 1–2 weeks for most repair work. During the busy pre season period, turnaround times may be slightly longer.
